KROSS-X

Light, reactive and built for real-world windsurfing.

GET READY TO RIDE

Crossover performance for real-world conditions

KROSS-X is built for riders who do not sail in one perfect category. Some days are Freeride. Some days are Bump & Jump. Some days are messy coastal chop, small waves, gusty wind or full-power blasting. KROSS-X is made for exactly that kind of sailing.

For 2027, the sail gets a fresher and more technical material lay-out. Carbon draft stability lines help support the profile and keep the draft more stable when powered. Light scrim X-ply reduces weight and gives the sail a more lively, reactive feeling in the hands.

The result is a Crossover sail that feels lighter, cleaner and more controlled, without losing the easy-going character that makes KROSS-X so versatile.

KROSS-X
CROSSOVER DNA

Modern Crossover. Real-world freedom.

The goal was not to force KROSS-X into one discipline.
The goal was to build a sail that feels natural across Freeride, Bump & Jump, chop, small waves and everyday coastal conditions.

The inspiration

The crossover feeling

  • Easy freeride acceleration
  • Playful bump & jump handling
  • Comfortable control in chop
  • One sail for many conditions
The 2027 rebuild

KROSS-X 2027

  • Carbon draft stability lines
  • Light scrim X-ply feel
  • More supported profile under load
  • Lighter, cleaner and more reactive handling

Not locked into one discipline. Freedom, rebuilt for 2027.

TRUE CROSSOVER PERFORMANCE

Not a Freeride sail with a Wave label

KROSS-X works because it does not force the rider into one discipline.

It has enough power to get going early, enough control to stay comfortable in rough water and enough manoeuvrability to play with chop, ramps and small waves. It is not a pure Wave sail. It is not a Slalom sail. It is the sail you rig when you are not sure what the session will bring.

For 2027, the updated material lay-out makes the concept stronger. Carbon draft stability lines help the sail hold its profile when loaded, while light scrim X-ply keeps the handling crisp, lively and easy.

This is not all-round Freeride with Crossover styling. This is real Crossover performance.

  • icon Easy early planing and light handling
  • icon Stable profile support and smooth power delivery
  • icon Better control in gusts and chop
  • icon True Crossover versatility including playful jumping and turning
KROSS-X feeling

Light in the hands. Supported under load.

The all new 2027 material lay-out plays an important role in the new KROSS-X feeling.

Carbon draft stability lines support the key load zones of the sail, helping the profile stay cleaner and more stable when powered. Light scrim X-ply reduces weight and gives the rig a fresher, more reactive character in the hands.

That is what makes KROSS-X feel easy in mixed conditions. It stays light when you are jumping, gybing or sailing through chop, but the profile still has enough support when the wind loads up.

That is the difference riders notice immediately:

  • icon The sail feels lighter, livelier and easier to move
  • icon Carbon lines help support the draft under load
  • icon Light scrim X-ply gives a more reactive feel
  • icon The rig stays comfortable and controlled in chop

Got a constant curve mast with a slight flex-top character in this length? You’re set — the sail breathes smoothly, the top twists progressively and the profile stays balanced. Rig it correctly, and KROSS-X keeps its light crossover feel while the carbon draft stability lines support the profile when powered.

Why riders prefer KROSS-X

Versatility, by design

Wide wind range

Made for mixed conditions. Freeride, Bump & Jump, chop, small waves, coastal spots and gusty wind all fit within its comfort zone. Enough power to blast. Enough freedom to play.

Carbon draft stability lines

The carbon draft stability lines support the profile through the key load zones of the sail, improving draft stability when powered for a cleaner, more controlled feel without making the sail stiff or heavy.

Light scrim X-ply feel

Light scrim X-ply gives the sail a fresher, livelier and more responsive character, reducing weight and making the rig feel easier during transitions, jumps and long sessions in rough water.

Easy handling in real conditions

Easy to rig. Easy to control. Easy to trust. The power comes on smoothly, the sail stays balanced and the handling remains light when conditions get messy.

What defines KROSS-X
