GET READY TO RIDE

Freeride performance with a Slalom mindset

KROSS-S is made for riders who want more than easy cruising.

It is built for fast freeride blasting, GPS sessions, club racing, powered-up freeride boards and riders who like to push harder across chop. You get the comfort and easy handling of a no-cam freeride sail, but with a more direct, performance-focused feel.

For 2027, KROSS-S becomes the freeride slalom model inside the new KROSS family. It stays simple, light and accessible, but the profile, twist and handling are tuned with speed and control in mind.

Compared to KROSS-W and KROSS-X, the KROSS-S sits at the performance end of the family. More locked-in. More forward drive. More speed focus.

Fast, clean and easy to push.

KROSS-X
FREERIDE SLALOM DNA

Modern freeride. Slalom mindset.

The goal was not to make KROSS-S a Race sail.
The goal was to give Freeride sailors more speed, more control and a more performance-focused feel, without adding cams or complication.

The inspiration

The Freeride feeling

  • Easy rigging
  • Light handling
  • Smooth power delivery
  • Comfortable long sessions
The 2027 rebuild

KROSS-S 2027

  • Freeride Slalom focus

  • Stable profile when powered
  • New 6.0 size added

No cams. No complication. Speed, rebuilt for 2027.

TRUE CROSSOVER FUNCTION

Not a Race sail without cams

KROSS-S works because it keeps things simple, but not slow.

Many freeride sails are easy, but become soft and unstable when pushed hard. Race sails are fast, but more demanding and technical. KROSS-S sits in the middle: easy enough for everyday sailing, but with enough profile stability and twist control to keep accelerating when the wind builds.

For 2027, the KROSS family has been split into three dedicated directions, making the KROSS-S role much clearer. It is the Freeride Slalom option for riders who want speed, comfort and control in one package.

No cams. No complication. Just clean Freeride speed.

  • icon Light handling. Smooth acceleration.
  • icon Quick and early planing. Direct, sporty feel.
  • icon Stable high-speed trim. Confidence in chop.
KROSS-S feeling

Light in the hands. Stable when powered.

The no-cam lay-out defines the KROSS-S feeling.

It keeps rigging simple, handling light and rotation easy, while the performance-focused profile gives the sail more drive and stability than a basic Freeride design.

The draft feels balanced when powered, the top twists progressively and the pressure stays predictable when the wind builds. That gives KROSS-S its clean, sporty feel: easy to use, but still fast enough to push.

That is the difference riders notice immediately:

  • icon The sail rigs and rotates easily without cams
  • icon The profile stays more stable when powered
  • icon The rig feels light and comfortable in the hands
  • icon Power converts into clean forward speed

Why riders prefer KROSS-S

Easy speed, by design

Easy freeride power

Smooth power from low speed gets the board moving quickly. No need for aggressive pumping or technical trim to feel alive. Sheet in, build speed and let the natural forward drive set in.

New 6.0 size

The new 6.0 fills an important gap in the range. Perfect for powered-up conditions, stronger wind blasting and compact Freeride Slalom set-ups.

Slalom-inspired control

A more performance-focused feel than a pure freeride sail. Balanced when powered, stable in the draft and confident enough to keep pushing through gusts and chop.

No-cam simplicity

No cams means easier rigging, lighter rotation and less hassle. KROSS-S is ideal for speed without the set-up, tuning and physical feel of a cambered sail.

What defines KROSS-S

Fast, simple and easy to push.

KROSS-S is defined by easy speed. It gives you the clean, direct feeling of a performance Freeride sail without the complexity of cams. Light to handle, easy to rig and comfortable to sail, but still enough structure to keep pushing when conditions get serious. Rig it. Sheet in. Go fast.
